Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial Java experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Production experience with Apache Kafka.
- Good knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, database migrations, and transactions.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, including Testcontainers.
- Knowledge of contract testing.
- Practical knowledge of Clean Architecture or Hexagonal Architecture and DDD.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Ability to design REST APIs and use OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of Gradle or Maven.
Responsibilities
- Develop merchant payment and prepaid-wallet microservices for accounts, balances, charges, credits, and transaction history.
- Build payment, top-up, and refund processes and integrate with external payment operators.
- Develop invoicing processes and SAP integrations.
- Create systems for generating and delivering merchant reports.
- Design and develop REST API and Kafka integrations and asynchronous processes.
- Help migrate legacy services to Clean or Hexagonal Architecture.
- Create ADRs and architecture documentation.
- Write and develop unit, integration, and contract tests.
- Work with Helm, GitLab CI, and GitOps environments.
- Participate in code reviews and estimations, and support production systems through on-call.
