Requirements
- Have at least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bring strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript in a frontend-leaning full-stack profile.
- Have professional experience in a relevant digital media, publishing, video, or image-based product context.
- Have experience with multimedia content or its delivery and embedding.
- Have experience taking full-stack features or products into production and supporting them through monitoring and ongoing maintenance.
- Have strong experience with AWS and production systems.
- Be familiar with relevant AWS services, including ECS/EKS, RDS, SQS, CDK, MediaConvert, and CloudFront.
- Have solid software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work independently on technical tasks.
- Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools in an everyday engineering workflow.
- Nice to have: experience in AdTech or programmatic advertising; RTB experience is not required.
- Nice to have: experience with real-time or low-latency backend systems, media delivery, format optimization, or scaling.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Python or Rust.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React-based interfaces and Node.js/TypeScript services for media products.
- Develop services and APIs for media ingestion, delivery, and embedding across web experiences.
- Take features from implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
- Help ensure production services are secure, observable, and reliable at scale.
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to shape and validate new product ideas.
- Use production feedback to iterate on systems and product behavior.
