Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable services in Java and/or Go.
- Have practical experience with AWS, including EKS and EC2, and Kubernetes.
- Understand CPU architectures, including x86 versus ARM, and performance tuning for cloud-native applications.
- Have working knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
- Be open to occasional pre-scheduled evening calls between 17:00 and 21:00 CET.
Responsibilities
- Refactor, optimize, and migrate core Java and Go services to run efficiently on ARM CPU architectures, including AWS Graviton and Azure Cobalt.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and hardware-level instruction behavior during x86-to-ARM migration.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale migrated workloads in enterprise environments using Kubernetes (EKS).
- Ensure seamless CI/CD delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform and AWS services.
- Collaborate with cloud architecture and platform security teams across global time zones.
