Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, GIS, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Have significant experience providing technical or application support.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Have experience supporting GIS or other enterprise applications.
- Have strong communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to meet applicable client access requirements.
- Advanced experience with Esri ArcGIS applications is preferred.
- Experience supporting GIS databases or enterprise GIS environments is preferred.
- Previous experience serving as a technical lead or subject matter expert is preferred.
- Experience developing technical documentation and user procedures is preferred.
- Experience working with government or large enterprise customers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for GIS applications, databases, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot software, configuration, access, data, and user issues.
- Provide technical guidance to users and project team members.
- Coordinate technical activities and help ensure project requirements are completed on schedule.
- Assist with software upgrades, system changes, and application implementations.
- Develop user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and technical documentation.
- Work with system administrators, developers, analysts, and client stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other support personnel as needed.
