Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have two years of experience in the job offered or a related role, or hold a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Have working knowledge of Agile or Scrum processes.
- Have working knowledge of Python.
- Have experience managing Linux-based systems in a public cloud.
- Have working knowledge of Kubernetes and containers on Linux.
- Be able to troubleshoot networking issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Have experience writing and administering Ansible playbooks.
- Have working knowledge of observability tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement code and scripts to enhance service reliability and scalability within established parameters.
- Participate in routine code reviews and testing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, provide support, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in regular on-call rotations and respond to service incidents during scheduled shifts.
- Deliver incident response and postmortem processes to address and document operational issues.
- Assist with routine customer issue resolution escalated from support teams.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of SRE software and tools.
