Requirements
- Have 6–10+ years of production software engineering experience, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML to production.
- Bring deep Python skills and strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
- Have deep production LLM experience, including multi-agent orchestration, MCP/tool-use, RAG optimisation, evaluation frameworks, and agent deployment at scale.
- Demonstrate system architecture expertise across enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI services.
- Have a proven track record leading complex enterprise technical engagements, managing customer relationships, navigating security reviews, and delivering production systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to create reusable technical assets used by others in production.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills for architecture documents, runbooks, strategic memos, and training materials.
- Hold a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.
- Experience founding or scaling an FDE/solutions engineering function is a nice-to-have.
- Technical founder background; Databricks, AWS Bedrock, or Temporal experience; or domain knowledge in healthcare, financial services, or government are nice-to-haves.
- Agent framework contributions, familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements, and proficiency in German or French are nice-to-haves.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-system AI deployments end-to-end, from scoping and architecture through building, validation, and customer relationship management.
- Own the AI workshop program for the pod, customize modules, lead technical sessions, translate outputs into production requirements, and evolve content based on field learning.
- Architect multi-agent solutions and select coordination patterns suited to customer workflows and compliance requirements.
- Design client-specific and industry-specific MCP resource packs.
- Own Deployment Kit quality and documentation for the pod.
- Lead Solutions Enablement Sprints and transfer AI deployment patterns to solutions consultants and partners through training materials and certification criteria.
- Author strategic memos, present weekly field findings, contribute Agent Bricks and Skills, and file RFCs for platform improvements.
- Mentor junior FDEs on customer engagements, code reviews, and Deployment Kit quality.
