Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on production experience with AWS.
- Be proficient in TypeScript or Go.
- Be proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code, such as AWS CDK, Pulumi, or Terraform.
- Have a solid grasp of at least one other major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI) or on-premise deployments.
- Have deep expertise in serverless architectures and security best practices.
- Understand containerisation and Docker in production environments.
- Have experience with globally distributed, low-latency systems.
- Have startup experience and be comfortable with fast decisions, hard problems, and ownership.
- Communicate clearly in English and explain complex infrastructure decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale deployments of thousands of concurrent GPU servers, focusing on performance and efficiency.
- Architect and implement systems for dynamic deployment, routing, and load balancing across multiple clouds and regions.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable deployment pipelines.
- Set technical direction for infrastructure decisions and improve how the team builds and operates.
- Research, document, and drive adoption of simple, robust tooling.
- Own observability and monitoring.
- Lead compliance and security certification work, including SOC2 Type II, coordinating across engineering, product, and operations.
- Build testable, operable, and maintainable software and uphold that standard across shipped work.
