Requirements
- Demonstrate a solid command of data structures and algorithms.
- Have a track record of debugging, problem solving and removing performance bottlenecks.
- Bring hands-on backend experience with Java on AWS.
- Have experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
- Be willing to work alongside intelligence-assisted coding tools in everyday engineering.
- Be located in a U.S. time zone: Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern.
- Experience writing concurrent code for multi-core servers is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Create dependable application interfaces and server-side services that scale well.
- Write clean, minimal code that others can easily follow.
- Partner with frontend, design and product colleagues on shared features.
- Tackle scaling challenges as they arise.
- Work through core business problems the software must solve.
