- Have experience working with Python.
- Understand computer science topics including data structures, algorithms, computability, and complexity.
- Have version control skills using Git.
- Know how to unblock websites for scraping.
- Use different scraping techniques and open-source tools to build scrapers.
- Be comfortable using DevTools.
- Have knowledge of TLS/SSL networking.
- Have experience with browser automation.
- Know asynchronous programming.
- CSS Selectors and XPath knowledge is listed as nice to have.
- Experience with Go and C++ is listed as nice to have.
- Experience with Pydantic, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Redis, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, or Prometheus is listed as nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable scrapers.
- Define resilient scraping strategies and unblock websites for scraping.
- Improve observability in the system.
- Develop back-end solutions for scraping and parsing problems.
- Maintain the current system and develop new scraping and parsing features.
