Requirements
- Have 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 2+ years specializing in D365 F&O (AX2012 / D365 F&O) development.
- Be proficient in X++, C#, .NET, T-SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understand Azure serverless architecture, including Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Understand RESTful APIs and JSON/XML parsing.
- Be familiar with Message Queues and Service Bus.
- Have skills in Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and LCS/PPAC.
- Be familiar with Trace Parser, Postman, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Have expertise in T-SQL performance tuning, indexing, and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Have knowledge of Power BI and Azure Synapse/Data Lake.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate (MB-500) is listed as nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement D365 F&O customizations and extensions using X++, Chain of Command, and event-driven architecture.
- Build custom data entities, forms, workflows, business logic, and financial engines.
- Review code, enforce solution patterns, and optimize X++ and T-SQL performance using Trace Parser, SQL Profiler, and Performance Timer.
- Develop SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting configurations, and Power BI data models.
- Build Azure Integration Services middleware and real-time or asynchronous integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, OData, web services, REST APIs, and the Recurring Integrations API.
- Implement and support Dual-Write, Dataverse synchronization, and Azure Synapse Link for D365 data streaming.
- Develop Data Management Framework data entities and design data migration scripts, transformations, and staging database architectures.
- Configure BYOD and Data Lake exports for downstream enterprise reporting.
- Manage deployments, code merges, and branch strategies using Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services, and Power Platform Admin Center.
- Maintain automated build pipelines, CI/CD, and regression testing suites using RSAT.
