Have 4+ years of experience in backend development of commercial web applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Have recent experience with Kotlin.
Understand core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity.
Have experience designing and working with APIs.
Have experience building or supporting distributed and scalable systems.
Have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar tools.
Have a good understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java.
Have upper-intermediate English or higher.
Be able to work independently in a distributed team.
Be able to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Performance optimization experience is a plus.
Experience contributing to technical design and specifications is a plus.

Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Create unit tests and participate in integration testing when needed.
Participate in performance testing when needed.
Take part in code reviews.
Contribute to solving complex technical problems with attention to performance, security, and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support product features.
