Requirements
- Have proven senior-level experience in survey data processing within market, social, or policy research.
- Demonstrate strong coding in Python and/or R applied to data processing, validation, or automation.
- Have solid survey statistics knowledge, including weighting, significance testing, and confidence intervals.
- Have a deep understanding of survey data structures and downstream delivery requirements.
- Have professional working proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development tools is useful but not required.
- SPSS experience, including modernizing SPSS workflows into code, is beneficial.
- SQL, Databricks, Azure, or other cloud data platform experience is beneficial.
- Data visualization experience with Power BI, R Shiny, Dash, or similar is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Own project data processing end to end, from specifications and data management through quality assurance, documentation, and final deliverables.
- Carry out weighting, significance testing, and other statistical procedures in collaboration with methods specialists on complex survey designs.
- Produce data tables, datasets, and analytical outputs.
- Develop automated processing workflows in Python and/or R, including modernizing existing SPSS-based processes.
- Apply AI-assisted tools to coding, quality assurance, validation, and documentation.
- Serve as the technical contact for project directors, project managers, and, where needed, clients.
- Mentor and develop less experienced analysts.
