Requirements
- Bring 4+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions as a full-stack engineer with a backend focus.
- Have deep expertise in Java, including Java 21, and the Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Have advanced relational data engineering proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL.
- Have hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and ReactJS, and be able to work with legacy ExtJS frontends.
- Have practical exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins-based CI/CD automation.
- Be familiar with AI-assisted developer tooling for software delivery.
- Have full professional English fluency, written and verbal, for direct synchronous collaboration with U.S. stakeholders.
- Supply chain/item-chain management experience is a valued extra.
- Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ experience and Terraform are valued extras.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend microservices and responsive web interfaces.
- Deliver end-to-end features by designing RESTful APIs, optimizing Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL schemas, and leading legacy-to-modern architecture migrations.
- Diagnose production bottlenecks, tune application performance, and establish monitoring with New Relic and Splunk and load testing with JMeter.
- Enforce code quality standards, lead technical reviews, and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with U.S. product managers, architects, and UI/UX designers to turn business roadmaps into production-ready solutions.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and practices to support delivery and code refactoring, including ExtJS-to-React transitions.
