Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on professional software engineering experience.
- Have experience working on enterprise-grade web applications.
- Bring strong backend expertise with Java as the primary language.
- Have experience with Python and distributed microservices architectures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in React and modern frontend web standards.
- Understand scalable data architecture, performance profiling, and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Bring practical, production-level architectural judgment.
- Be able to work within an enterprise-provisioned AWS WorkSpaces virtual desktop environment.
- Verify reliable network connectivity to an AWS WorkSpace region using the official health check and submit a screenshot of successful results.
- Overlap with US Central Time business hours for at least 6 hours during a standard 8-hour workday.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend and backend services using Java, Python, microservices architecture, and React.
- Bridge core software engineering and data engineering practices to support high-performance platform systems.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum sprint lifecycle and drive delivery and ticket progression through Jira backlogs.
- Deliver reliable, high-availability services and performance optimizations in complex data environments.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in code reviews and design discussions.
- Debug systems and contribute to platform reliability.
