Requirements
- Have 4+ years of software quality assurance experience, including manual and automated testing of web applications.
- Have a bachelor's degree.
- Perform end-to-end testing across user interfaces, APIs, and databases.
- Write user functionality test cases, scenarios, and expected results from requirements and user stories.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Use at least one test automation framework, such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or pytest.
- Test REST and JSON services with Postman or comparable tooling.
- Use SQL to validate data in relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Test workflow-driven applications, including assignments, reviews, status transitions, approvals, exceptions, and audit history.
- Track defects and manage tests in Jira or comparable tools.
- Be proficient in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Test submissions end to end through intake, document processing, review, approval, and audit history across the user interface, APIs, and database.
- Write test cases from requirements and user stories, and test screens, user permissions, and exception paths.
- Build and maintain end-to-end, API, and regression suites that run in the CI/CD pipeline on every build.
- Use SQL to validate that information shown to users matches source documents and database records.
- Test role-based access, permissions, and integrations such as identity verification and notifications.
- Report defects with reproducible steps, expected and actual results, evidence, and severity.
- Communicate defect implications for releases with developers, product owners, and client stakeholders.
