Requirements
- Have substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or in automating for a browser engine, ideally Firefox/Gecko.
- Have solid JavaScript skills and apply them to writing automated tests.
- Have proficiency in and experience developing software in C++.
- Bring strong debugging skills in a mature, large codebase.
- Be comfortable working in the open, including public bugs, code review, and upstream landing.
- Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine are preferred.
- Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Write Web-Platform tests to improve coverage and Gecko mochitests as needed.
- Fix problems and pass tests to improve Gecko correctness.
- Work through code review with relevant Gecko module owners and iterate to landing.
