Requirements
- At least 3 years of UX design experience; experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments is preferred.
- Wireframing experience.
- Experience using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, or Microsoft Narrator to test keyboard navigation.
- Experience with responsive design across desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, and across browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- A strong research and usability foundation, including experience planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and heuristic analysis.
- Proficiency in visual and interaction design.
- Expertise in Adobe XD and Adobe Suite products.
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance, WCAG 2.1, and accessibility.
- Understanding of UX design best practices, mobile-first design, and responsive design.
- Ability to work with clients to understand requirements and design user experiences that meet client vision and end-user needs.
- Ability to present ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- A bachelor's degree is strongly desired.
- UX certifications are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide input and reporting on products and solutions regarding user experience, work product review, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1.
- Prepare design options, including wireframes, design standards, and other UX and UD deliverables for customer and development-team review.
- Assess systems and work products from a human-centered design perspective and produce reports with findings and suggested remediation measures.
- Ensure service and system development, enhancement, and operations work includes UX and user design participation and review.
- Design and deliver high-fidelity wireframes optimized for a range of devices and interfaces.
- Research, sketch, wireframe, prototype, and test digital experiences based on client product vision.
- Identify design problems and develop solutions.
- Validate design decisions and concepts through user research, heuristic analysis, and user testing.
- Balance multiple projects and project types.
