Job Details

Be a qualified lawyer.
Have at least 6 years’ experience at a top-tier firm in M&A, venture or technology, followed by in-house experience at a technology company.
Have negotiated and closed technology contracts, including licensing, API and SaaS agreements, data processing agreements and partnerships.
Understand technology well enough to interpret API specifications and data flows and translate them into contract terms.
Have strong data protection expertise, including GDPR, data-heavy products and international transfers.
Understand the EU AI Act and Swiss law, which governs the company’s contracts.
Have cross-border experience, including work with US counterparties or US-law contracts.
Draft and negotiate in English at native level.

Draft, negotiate and close NDAs, pilot and production agreements, renewals, DPAs, GTCs, group agreements, partnerships and R&D agreements.
Build and maintain go-to-market templates, standard and fallback positions, and a negotiation playbook.
Maintain a register of contract commitments and renewal dates.
Set out data processing, model learning, data retention and customer ownership terms in agreements.
Lead data protection and AI compliance across GDPR, the Swiss FADP, the EU AI Act, US state privacy law and international transfers.
Run enterprise security and compliance reviews with Engineering, including the vendor due-diligence pack, DPIAs, transfer assessments, SOC 2 and customer questionnaires.
Partner with the CEO, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering during negotiations and deal-making.
Handle corporate and investor documentation, employment across 10+ countries, and intellectual property matters.
