Requirements
- Significant experience building and supporting data pipelines, integrations, analytics platforms, reporting data assets, or cloud data solutions.
- Strong experience with several relevant technologies, including Databricks, dbt, Power BI, ADF, Lakeflow, Azure DevOps, SQL, Python, Spark, APIs, sFTP, or EDI-related data exchanges.
- Experience designing production-ready solutions and supporting operational environments.
- Experience with CI/CD, source control, testing, deployment, and release practices.
- Ability to guide other engineers and lead technical work.
- Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, PHI handling, privacy, and healthcare compliance expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational support for assigned pipelines, integrations, APIs, reports, jobs, models, datasets, and platform services.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, reconciliation, runbooks, and support procedures, and drive root-cause analysis and permanent remediation.
- Design and deliver complex solutions across data engineering, integration, analytics, reporting, and platform operations.
- Lead technical design for data pipelines, API integrations, file-based exchanges, sFTP flows, EDI-related interactions, dbt models, Databricks workflows, and Power BI data assets.
- Review designs, code, models, integration flows, test plans, and deployment plans created by other engineers.
- Coordinate technical delivery, testing, deployment readiness, release notes, and production validation, and improve CI/CD practices.
- Support medallion architecture implementation and align upstream integrations with downstream data products.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate complex topics to business and technology audiences.
- Mentor Junior Data Engineers and Data Engineers and coordinate work with onshore and offshore resources.
- Ensure solutions align with HIPAA, HITRUST, privacy, security, and internal compliance expectations.
