Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least five years of experience as a PMO Manager or Director in a large enterprise matrixed organization.
- Experience balancing multiple ongoing priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and PMBOK.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver projects successfully.
- Experience delivering complex IT projects involving technical deployments.
- Experience managing project financials, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to analyze project metrics and performance data and use insights to guide decisions.
- Experience ensuring adherence to SOWs, contractual commitments, and delivery standards.
- At least two of the following certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Microsoft Project 2016/2019 Certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day execution and delivery of project management services.
- Lead and directly supervise a remote-based PMO team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Program Managers.
- Ensure technical engagements align with defined scope, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Track project performance and analyze project metrics to inform execution-focused decisions.
- Coordinate resources and communicate with executive leadership, departmental teams, and stakeholders.
- Manage project financials, including budgeting and cost control.
- Identify risks and issues, support staff in managing them, and escalate as needed.
- Ensure adherence to SOWs, contractual commitments, and delivery standards.
