Requirements
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
- Have experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Understand software architecture, design patterns, and API development.
- Have experience with Azure cloud services, including storage and serverless technologies.
- Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Be familiar with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
- Be familiar with monitoring tools such as App Insights, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Have hands-on experience or a strong understanding of AI-driven systems and intelligent automation workflows.
- Understand LLM APIs, testing, RAG, LangGraph, and related tools; be able to apply prompt engineering and integrate ML or LLM APIs.
- Have a proven track record in system building, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Have experience with code reviews, mentoring, and setting engineering standards.
- Be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Build LLM-powered features end to end, including agentic flows, retrieval, and tool calling with LangGraph.
- Ship LLM features as FastAPI services with streaming, persistence, and tests.
- Build evaluation datasets, regression suites, and LLM-as-judge checks to assess prompt and model changes.
- Turn user questions into effective queries against the search platform and orchestrate multi-step research loops.
- Shape the context used by models and diagnose whether incorrect answers stem from retrieval, queries, or prompts.
- Instrument production flows with Langfuse tracing and investigate incorrect answers using real traces.
- Manage latency, token, and cost budgets, including routing across model sizes and families through an AI gateway.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable cloud backend systems for AI-driven and intelligent automation solutions.
