Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or a master’s degree in Data Science or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and analyzing complex queries.
- Have experience with PostgreSQL, SQL database management, and data extraction and manipulation.
- Have knowledge of SAS analytics, SAS Business Intelligence, SAS reporting, and data quality control processes.
- Be able to validate, interpret, and present data using Excel and Power BI.
- Have experience improving or automating recurring reports and analytical workflows.
- Apply attention to detail and logical problem-solving to investigate data inconsistencies.
- Work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
- Have advanced English proficiency at C1 level, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications in data management, Apache Spark, Azure Data Engineering, IBM DataStage, Oracle Database, or related technologies are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify business requirements and analytical needs.
- Execute data quality control procedures using SAS or Microsoft Access.
- Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, validate, and interpret data.
- Use PostgreSQL and other database technologies for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Validate reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SAS-based reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate reports and recurring processes.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings and performance indicators.
- Translate data findings into recommendations for business monitoring and operational improvement.
- Improve data analysis, reporting workflows, and quality control practices.
