Requirements
- Be familiar with test automation tools, particularly Cypress, and automated testing principles.
- Have experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, including validating responses, status codes, and expected behavior.
- Have experience testing web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Use browser DevTools, Network, and Console tools to investigate issues and support debugging.
- Have knowledge of Azure DevOps, LambdaTest, New Relic, and CI/CD practices.
- Be proficient with Zephyr or similar test management tools for organizing test cases, tracking execution, and reporting results.
- Have a basic understanding of application monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic.
- Understand manual and automated testing practices, test design techniques, regression testing, and risk-based testing.
- Be able to document, prioritize, track, and communicate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create, document, manage, and track bugs and defects throughout their lifecycle.
- Define, design, and validate test scenarios for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and application reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing strategies, and quality assurance best practices.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing a QA perspective on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Investigate issues, analyze test results, and work with development teams to ensure defects are properly addressed.
- Support the integration of testing activities into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to the continuous delivery of reliable software.
