Requirements
- Have 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Have managed 40+ people through Team Leads.
- Have proven experience scaling engineering organizations and delivery processes.
- Have a strong background in frontend development.
- Have experience developing engineers and tech leads through mentoring, performance management, and growth planning.
- Understand complex frontend architectures.
- Have experience with high-load web applications.
- Be fluent in Russian for day-to-day collaboration within the engineering team.
- Technology context includes Vue (2/3) or React, TypeScript, Pinia, Vuex or similar state-management solutions, microfrontend architecture with Webpack Module Federation, Webpack, Jest, and unit testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the frontend organization, including engineering and UI/design teams, comprising approximately 70+ engineers.
- Scale teams through Team Leads and develop engineering leaders.
- Build and evolve engineering culture, standards, and best practices.
- Design and improve development and delivery processes.
- Ensure quality, stability, and predictability of product delivery.
- Participate in architectural decisions, including the microfrontend approach.
- Manage technical debt and improve system sustainability.
- Drive hiring and development of key engineering talent.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Design teams.
