Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience.
- Demonstrate experience in security engineering, security automation, cybersecurity software development, or a related technical field.
- Have strong hands-on programming experience in Python or JavaScript.
- Have experience developing security automation solutions, integrations, or SOC playbooks.
- Understand SOAR platforms and security playbooks for incident response, investigation, alert triage, and operational automation.
- Understand security operations, threat detection, incident response, and security tooling.
- Have practical understanding of platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence tools.
- Understand software engineering fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, testing, maintainable code, and performance optimisation.
- Be able to turn customer requirements and technical concepts into production-grade automation solutions.
- Understand AI/LLM concepts and their application to security workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable security automation components, connectors, integrations, and playbooks.
- Build scalable automation solutions for SOC workflows, incident response, threat investigation, and security operations.
- Translate customer requirements, use cases, and proof-of-concepts into production-ready automation content.
- Integrate SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Automate security tasks including alert enrichment, incident triage, investigation, and response workflows.
- Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into security workflows and evaluate AI-enabled approaches for security operations.
- Maintain and enhance the security automation content library, applying code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control.
- Troubleshoot technical and deployment issues and implement long-term improvements.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Product teams on customer requirements and solution delivery.
