Requirements
- Have 2+ years personally running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand, including creating and publishing content yourself.
- Provide examples of accounts you grew and results you achieved.
- Be able to manage two brands across social channels and tailor content to each platform.
- Create clean, on-brand graphics and stories using Canva, Figma, or similar.
- Write hooks and captions and shoot and edit short-form video.
- Use saves, shares, reach, and engagement data to adjust content.
- Have native-level written English.
- Overlap with US and Canada time zones.
- Be available to work overtime or weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
- Own the organic content strategy for KittySpout and DoggySpout across social media channels.
- Plan the content calendar one week ahead for each brand and platform.
- Write hooks and captions, shoot and edit short-form video, and design day-to-day graphics and stories.
- Spot trends daily and publish trend content the same day.
- Review creator and UGC content, repurpose the strongest material for organic posts, and share feedback with the creator team.
- Reply to comments and DMs within 24 hours, maintain the Facebook group, and engage with tagged mentions.
- Flag customer issues to Customer Support the same day.
- Report on performance every Monday, set KPI targets with the Influencers & Partnerships Manager, and update the department scorecard weekly.
