Requirements
- Have 2+ years personally running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand.
- Provide examples of accounts you grew and the results you achieved.
- Write in English at a native level.
- Manage two brands across social channels and tailor content to each platform and brand.
- Create and publish organic social content yourself rather than only approving content or managing an agency.
- Create clean, on-brand graphics and stories using Canva, Figma, or similar.
- Write hooks and captions and shoot and edit short-form video.
- Use saves, shares, reach, and engagement data to adjust content.
- Overlap with US and Canada time zones.
- Be available to work overtime or weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
- Own the organic content strategy for KittySpout and DoggySpout across social media channels.
- Plan the content calendar one week ahead for each brand and platform.
- Write hooks and captions, shoot and edit short-form video, and design daily graphics and stories.
- Spot trends and publish trend content the same day.
- Review creator and UGC content, repurpose selected content for organic social, and share feedback with the creator team.
- Reply to comments and DMs within 24 hours, maintain the Facebook group, and engage with tagged mentions.
- Flag customer issues to Customer Support the same day.
- Report on performance weekly, set KPI targets with the Influencers & Partnerships Manager, and update the department scorecard.
