Requirements
- Hold an advanced degree in ecology, evolutionary biology, or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional expertise.
- Have 3+ years of relevant research or applied experience.
- Have experience analyzing ecological or evolutionary data.
- Be fluent in English, with strong written communication skills.
- Experience with R, Python, GIS, population modeling, phylogenetics, or conservation planning is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design tasks involving biodiversity, population dynamics, conservation, evolutionary processes, or ecological interactions.
- Develop reference solutions with explicit assumptions, analytical methods, and evidence.
- Evaluate agents using ecological datasets, spatial tools, statistical software, or phylogenetic resources.
- Define evaluation criteria for scientific reasoning, reproducibility, and interpretation.
- Identify sampling bias, inappropriate models, unsupported causal claims, and other methodological errors.
