Requirements
- Have 5+ years of commercial fullstack experience.
- Have strong Python skills and solid TypeScript, React, and Next.js skills.
- Have a proven track record in workflow/job orchestration and automated end-to-end and unit testing with Playwright and pytest.
- Have hands-on experience with GCP Pub/Sub or similar messaging queues, asynchronous workers, retry mechanisms, and failure handling patterns.
- Understand REST API design, SSO/OAuth authentication, and secure network perimeters.
- Have strong knowledge of SQL databases, including PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.
- Have experience with object storage such as GCS or S3.
- Have practical experience with distributed observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Have working knowledge of CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Demonstrate end-to-end accountability, an ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and clear communication with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete delivery lifecycle of core product features across Next.js, Python APIs, async workers, and GCP infrastructure.
- Define and enforce automated testing strategies using Playwright and pytest.
- Set job and workflow orchestration standards for the engineering team.
- Design and operate resilient background workers using Pub/Sub, async queues, retry policies, and dead-letter failure handling.
- Connect applications with internal systems and third-party enterprise services via REST APIs, SSO/OAuth, and secure network boundaries.
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, manage database migrations, and operate GCS/S3 object storage.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Set up logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for reliable production delivery of distributed cloud services.
