Requirements
- Bring strong, production-proven JavaScript/TypeScript experience, including real use of the type system.
- Have solid backend experience; Node.js is preferred, while excellent backend experience in Java, Go, or Python is acceptable.
- Have hands-on production experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have a working understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
- Apply a security-conscious approach to attack surfaces, data handling, and least-privilege access.
- Be able to work with product teams, translate between technical constraints and business needs, and push back when needed.
- Have English proficiency at C1 level or above.
- Have Polish language skills at B2 level or above.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable backend services and APIs in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Work with product to shape features from discovery through delivery.
- Own work end to end, including scoping, building, shipping, and monitoring.
- Write secure, well-tested, production-ready code for systems with real uptime requirements.
- Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Help keep production systems reliable and observable, and respond when things go wrong.
