Requirements
- Have 10 years of programming experience in PL/SQL or Python, covering design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
- Demonstrate very good knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL, including structures, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, jobs, optimization, and partitioning.
- Have experience building Python applications using tools such as FastAPI, Pydantic, Polars, Pandera, SQLAlchemy, oracledb, Redis, pytest, uv, and ruff.
- Process and transform XML and JSON data using Oracle Database.
- Design and implement algorithms for large data volumes while maintaining high performance.
- Resolve performance issues, including query optimization, lock management, and batch processes.
- Understand the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and use Git for version control and code review.
- Apply secure programming practices, including protection against SQL injection and access-rights management.
- Create technical, design, and deployment documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support the architect in designing the database-based system architecture and application.
- Design and create database structures.
- Implement functionality in database systems.
- Oversee the technical development of software and set technology direction.
- Resolve performance issues, including query optimization.
- Ensure database consistency.
- Create and oversee automated tests.
- Create and update technical and as-built documentation.
- Participate in servicing and help develop work standards.
