Requirements
- Have 10+ years of hands-on commercial experience engineering web-based applications across Java backends and modern frontends.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Java (Java 17/21/25), Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
- Have practical experience with Angular or React.js; proficiency in both is strongly preferred.
- Have extensive experience building and consuming REST APIs and legacy SOAP web services.
- Demonstrate strong SQL and relational database skills; MS SQL Server is preferred.
- Have practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, and Application Insights.
- Have experience with modern CI/CD deployment pipelines, GitHub, and Git.
- Have experience applying AI-driven tools and agentic practices within the SDLC.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Be fluent in business English, spoken and written.
- Nice to have: experience with Guidewire core platforms, Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, Jutro Digital Platform or similar enterprise frontend frameworks, or Java, Spring, SQL, or Azure Cloud certifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve high-severity technical issues, integration blockers, and operational bugs across enterprise systems.
- Write, refactor, and review maintainable code across Java backends and Angular or React frontends.
- Support architectural discussions, microservices design, and modernization of enterprise platforms.
- Analyze system performance, dependencies, and code pipelines to identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Partner with development squads, architects, and DevOps engineers to streamline delivery and align technical integrations.
- Use AI coding tools, copilot extensions, and automated frameworks to accelerate software delivery, debugging, and testing.
