Requirements
- Bring strong software engineering experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Have hands-on experience building and shipping production Electron applications.
- Have experience with React or a similar modern UI framework.
- Understand Electron architecture, application lifecycle, and IPC communication.
- Have experience with local storage solutions such as SQLite, IndexedDB, or filesystem-based storage.
- Be familiar with WebSockets or other real-time communication technologies.
- Bring strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with messaging, collaboration, productivity, or AI-powered applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve cross-platform desktop applications using Electron and TypeScript.
- Create responsive interfaces for real-time messaging and collaboration.
- Integrate AI-powered chat, agent, and intelligent-assistance features.
- Implement desktop functionality including notifications, file-system access, auto-updates, and deep linking.
- Optimize application performance, startup speed, and memory usage.
- Manage local data, application state, and message history.
- Ensure a smooth, reliable experience across macOS and Windows.
