Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on SAP Basis administration experience, including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, system landscapes, operational requirements, and administration best practices.
- Experience administering SAP systems on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and production operations.
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity.
- Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud models.
- Experience with change management, risk assessments, and technical project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage the architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and administration of enterprise SAP systems and supporting database environments.
- Administer SAP Basis environments and maintain the performance, stability, security, and availability of SAP applications and infrastructure.
- Design, maintain, and optimize SAP system landscapes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support SAP systems on Windows and Linux with HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Plan and manage patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and system lifecycle activities.
- Apply backup, recovery, restoration, and business continuity practices, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Troubleshoot SAP and database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Support SAP environments hosted on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Coordinate change control, technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Document and improve technical standards, operational procedures, and SAP administration practices.
