Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience in logistics or supply chain.
- Experience with both asset-based and outsourced transportation.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a team with multiple layers of management.
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is required.
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to formulate countermeasures.
- Experience implementing countermeasures across multiple locations.
- Ability to lead teams across multiple functional areas in a matrixed environment.
- Working knowledge of Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to travel as needed to local offices, vendor facilities, and customer sites.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.
- ASCM certification (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, or CTSC) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and sustainment of supply chain best practices across LATAM markets.
- Lead LATAM supply chain network optimization assessments and execution.
- Select transportation vendors based on service and cost for shipments to and from vendors, warehouses, 3PL facilities, and job sites.
- Assess warehouse inefficiencies and implement corrective measures and documented process standards.
- Ensure compliant import and export standards for each LATAM country.
- Oversee creation and optimization of logistics, warehousing, and inventory standard operating procedures.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics for warehouse operations.
- Diversify and manage the carrier and vendor network, including bid processes, negotiations, onboarding, and requalification.
- Track delivery and customer service metrics, report results, and support supply chain process changes.
