Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer testing web applications.
- Have a strong understanding of software testing principles and test design.
- Have hands-on experience with exploratory, functional, regression, and API testing.
- Be able to review requirements, identify risks, and raise questions before development starts.
- Have experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Have working knowledge of SQL or GraphQL for investigation and data validation.
- Have experience investigating issues using logs, monitoring, or analytics tools such as Sentry, Rollbar, or Amplitude.
- Have experience using AI tools to improve testing and investigation workflows, and validate the results.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Have experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
- Be available every working day between 9 am and 12 pm EST.
Responsibilities
- Test new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
- Validate key user flows and important edge cases before releases.
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, edge cases, and risks.
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to clarify expected behavior.
- Prioritize testing based on product risk and combine structured and exploratory testing.
- Ensure important regression scenarios are covered and maintain useful documentation.
- Write clear and actionable bug reports.
- Investigate issues using logs, APIs, and monitoring tools.
- Use AI to support test design, investigations, and documentation, and validate AI-generated output.
- Share timely feedback and use production learnings to improve testing.
