Strong professional experience building, maintaining, and evolving complex backend applications and services using Python.
Experience designing software architectures, REST APIs, distributed systems, and service integrations.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, automated testing, code quality, and maintainable software development.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and asynchronous processing or event-driven architectures.
Practical experience with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
Experience acting as a technical reference or tech lead, guiding engineers through code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical discussions.
Ability to evaluate trade-offs involving scalability, performance, security, delivery timelines, and business impact.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction across backend and frontend development.
Familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants and responsible use of these tools.
Experience with generative AI products, large language models, or AI agents is an advantage.
Familiarity with agent architectures, tool orchestration, prompt engineering, MCP, LLMOps, AI application monitoring, or evaluation methodologies is desirable.
Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kafka, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Datadog is beneficial.

Lead the ongoing evolution of the AI Agent Builder product, delivering backend capabilities aligned with user needs and product objectives.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and observable backend services using Python.
Lead solution design discussions and make architectural decisions consistent with engineering standards and system requirements.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering to translate business needs into technical solutions and coordinate dependencies.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and share knowledge with the engineering team.
Monitor service health, improve observability and performance, support incident management, and address technical debt.
Balance development speed, code quality, scalability, and maintainability to support predictable delivery.
Use AI-powered development tools such as Cursor while maintaining responsibility for code quality, security, and maintainability.
Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, architecture, and team effectiveness.
