Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have 8–10 years of professional experience in software development and systems integration.
- Have expertise in at least two of HealthEdge, Salesforce, and Edifecs.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java.
- Have advanced experience in either C# or C++.
- Understand payer data formats, including EDI.
- Understand interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR.
- Understand payer platform workflows.
- Have experience delivering large-scale integration solutions in healthcare environments.
- Preferred: experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, or Azure Integration Services.
- Preferred: proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform.
- Preferred: Agile development experience with technical team leadership or project ownership.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable integration solutions for core payer workflows and data exchange.
- Lead the design and optimization of APIs, ETL pipelines, and EDI file exchanges.
- Partner with solution architects, engineering leads, and delivery teams to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor junior developers and support code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and resolve complex integration issues in production environments.
- Ensure solutions meet healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
