Requirements
- 10+ years of IT project or program management experience, including enterprise application implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on project management experience leading at least two full-lifecycle Oracle EBS upgrades or major Oracle EBS transformation initiatives.
- 5+ years managing mid- to high-complexity ERP/application upgrade programs across multiple business functions, integrations, technical dependencies, and workstreams.
- 5+ years of strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, integrations, customizations, environments, and upgrade dependencies.
- Experience managing Oracle EBS impact assessments, customization remediation, integration and regression testing, UAT, performance testing, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization.
- Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x upgrades is preferred.
- Experience delivering ERP/application programs in regulated environments and supporting global or multi-business-unit deployments is preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or similar project/program management certification is preferred.
- Experience managing implementation partners, consulting organizations, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
- Working knowledge of SDLC, release management, testing methodologies, and IT change-control processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Oracle EBS upgrade lifecycle from planning and assessment through deployment, hypercare, stabilization, and project closure.
- Develop and maintain the upgrade strategy, roadmap, delivery milestones, and integrated project schedule.
- Coordinate application, database, infrastructure, integration, security, customization, environment, and third-party workstreams.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, project dependencies, risks, and change control.
- Establish project governance, maintain RAID logs, facilitate leadership reviews, and report project health and milestones.
- Lead testing governance for system integration, regression, user acceptance, performance, and security testing.
- Develop cutover plans, lead mock cutovers, establish go/no-go criteria, and coordinate production deployment.
- Manage post-production hypercare and stabilization, then facilitate transition to steady-state support.
- Coordinate vendors and implementation partners, tracking ownership, commitments, deliverable quality, and schedule performance.
- Communicate status, risks, decisions, financials, and milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership.
