Requirements
- Have an art education and an understanding of composition and visual style.
- Provide a quality portfolio with at least three projects involving different tasks.
- Have experience with print and pre-press production, including preparing files in different formats and working with Pantone, TIFF, PDF, and spot colors.
- Know Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Lightroom, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma.
- Have experience with photo retouching and mockups, including an understanding of shadows and composition.
- Understand production considerations for web design, print, digital media, graphics, illustrations, and video animation.
- Be able to work within an established brand identity.
- Understand current trends in web and graphic design.
- Be organized, attentive to detail, and able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Be able to work with briefs and ask follow-up questions to clarify requirements.
- Be comfortable working collaboratively, receiving criticism, and solving problems while prioritizing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Generate and implement ideas and visual concepts as part of the creative process.
- Develop concepts and designs for materials across different areas.
- Create printed materials, including product labels and instructions.
- Create and update existing design layouts.
- Develop packaging designs for new and existing products.
- Adapt advertising materials to different sizes and create promotional assets for offers and discounts.
- Create key visuals for communication materials and contribute to logos and brand identity.
- Retouch photos and prepare and check PDF files for print according to manufacturers’ requirements.
