Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data management, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools; Looker is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Travel required 4–5 times a year.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders primarily using Looker, with information automated rather than created manually.
- Work with business leaders to understand objectives and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Use data proactively to uncover opportunities for improvement across the organization.
- Design and implement data models to maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models to business challenges.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to optimize data collection and pipeline processes.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts.
- Keep up with trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Familiarize yourself with new datasets and provide insights.
