Requirements
- Have over 3 years of experience in software development.
- Have at least 2 years of experience developing scalable, cloud-hosted applications.
- Know .NET Core or Go.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Be willing to work on development, testing, and deployment automation problems.
- Be able to learn and adapt quickly to solve practical problems.
- Public cloud application hosting and development experience with Microsoft Azure, GCP, or Amazon AWS is a plus.
- Kubernetes familiarity is desirable.
- Python familiarity is desirable.
- Linux operating system knowledge is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Influence and create designs, software, architecture, and deployment methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Contribute to defining the teams’ technical approach and system and software architecture.
- Learn and understand Motorola Solutions internal platforms.
- Create technical approaches and designs for new features that span the organization.
- Drive new platform capabilities and requirements to support product features.
- Take part in an on-call rotation, one sprint on and multiple sprints off.
