Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, technical delivery, business intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Hold an engineering degree; this is mandatory.
- Demonstrate strong SQL expertise, including writing, analyzing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries across relational databases and sophisticated data models.
- Have good working knowledge of Python and Apache Spark for data transformation, reporting, and analytical requirements.
- Be able to interpret data-lineage diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, database schemas, and business-process flows.
- Have excellent written and spoken English communication skills and be able to explain technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Have experience interacting directly with clients, gathering requirements, discussing technical approaches, and managing expectations.
- Be able to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and guide junior analysts.
- Be organized and able to prioritize multiple requests, manage competing deadlines, and own issues through resolution.
- Be available to work the US shift, from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM India Standard Time (IST).
- Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and Customer Success Managers to understand objectives and reporting requirements, then translate them into specifications and implementation plans.
- Lead and coordinate junior data analysts, provide technical guidance, and support timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Bridge communication among customers, Customer Success, Product Engineering, and Design teams to align expectations and coordinate project execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, widgets, data models, and platform-based solutions.
- Write, analyze, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries across relational data models.
- Use Python and Apache Spark for data transformation, advanced reporting, and specialized technical solutions.
- Configure platform features, workflows, integrations, and reporting components to meet business requirements.
- Test and quality-check reports, dashboards, data models, and configurations before delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution notes, data-lineage records, and reusable implementation patterns.
