Requirements
- Have 6+ years of BIM modelling experience, including at least 4 years focused on MEP in commercial projects.
- Provide a portfolio of coordinated LOD 350+ MEP models on at least 3 delivered commercial projects.
- Have proven delivery experience on ISO 19650 projects, including multi-disciplinary clash coordination.
- Demonstrate use of scripting or AI tools to speed up modelling, with before-and-after evidence.
- Be expert in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and proficient in AutoCAD.
- Have experience with Navisworks Manage, clash detection, and BCF issue tracking.
- Have experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 and BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Know ISO 19650, BEP/MIDP/TIDP, Uniclass or OmniClass classification, and IFC export.
- Have experience with Dynamo scripting and working knowledge of Python.
- Use LLM assistants daily for scripting, documentation, and research.
- Test modelling and AI tools on real data and report results; automate tasks done more than twice and share tools with the team.
Responsibilities
- Produce federated MEP models for offices, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, and data-centre projects.
- Model to LOD 350–400, including fabrication-ready ductwork, pipework, containment, hangers, and supports where required.
- Build and maintain parametric Revit families, shared parameters, and project templates aligned to Janus Digital standards.
- Run clash detection across architectural, structural, and MEP models using Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Apply AI and automation to auto-routing, family generation, drawing and sheet automation, model checking, and scan-to-BIM.
- Write and maintain Dynamo and pyRevit/Python scripts, using AI coding assistants to build them faster.
- Evaluate shortlisted AI-for-AEC tools hands-on using Janus Digital project data and map the AI-for-AEC landscape.
- Work with the Chief Platform/Product Officer to shape platform priorities from a practitioner's perspective.
- Apply ISO 19650 information management, including BEPs, MIDPs/TIDPs, naming conventions, and CDE workflows.
- Work with the Product team on developing an AI automation BIM tool.
