Requirements
- Have 4+ years in QA or software testing, including at least 3 years writing test automation in production codebases.
- Code confidently in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java, and be comfortable reading code in the others.
- Have hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST-assured, or an equivalent automation framework.
- Demonstrate API testing skills, including REST, JSON, authentication, contract, and schema validation.
- Plan and run manual testing, including end-to-end and integration scenarios, when automation is not practical or available.
- Have experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Have practical experience using AI tools such as LLMs or Copilot for test design, test data, or automation code.
- Use Git, code reviews, and clean-code practices in test code.
- Have experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- English fluency is required; French or Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain automated tests across API, UI, integration, regression, and data layers.
- Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into test cases and automated scenarios with developers and product owners.
- Extend shared automation frameworks with reusable components, utilities, fixtures, and test data builders.
- Migrate manual regression suites into automation and investigate flaky tests, root causes, and redundant coverage.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, test data, and automation code, and pilot AI-driven testing techniques.
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and configure quality gates, reporting, and dashboards.
- Manage reproducible, version-controlled test environments and test data with DevOps.
- Triage and reproduce production issues, validate fixes, contribute to root-cause analysis, and add regression tests.
- Work with Agile/Scrum teams, pair with developers on testing practices, and support junior and manual QA engineers.
