Requirements
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have strong backend development fundamentals.
- Be proficient in Python.
- Be proficient in Bash.
- Work in Linux environments.
- Have experience building and operating production systems.
- Bring strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with data pipelines or large-scale data processing is preferred.
- Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly GCP and Terraform, is a plus.
- Familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Discover new sources of audio data.
- Build reliable pipelines to bring audio data into training datasets.
- Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems.
- Optimize data-processing systems for data quality, throughput, and cost.
- Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets and support next-generation model development.
- Own engineering projects from problem discovery through implementation and continuous improvement.
