Requirements
- Bring strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Service and report creation.
- Have strong Power Query skills and expertise in advanced DAX calculations.
- Have a deep background in data modeling, including star schemas.
- Be experienced in handling large datasets and optimizing report performance.
- Have hands-on experience with Power BI workspace management and role permissions.
- Have experience with the Capacity Metrics App.
- Have basic-to-intermediate knowledge of Azure Data Factory and the ability to monitor, maintain, and debug existing ETL pipelines.
- Have working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, source validation, and analysis.
- Be able to translate complex stakeholder requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build executive-ready dashboards and interactive reports from scratch.
- Architect, optimize, and maintain data models, including star schemas and relationships.
- Develop measures, KPIs, and complex logic using DAX.
- Execute data transformations in Power Query.
- Manage workspaces, publish reports, configure permissions, and monitor capacity performance using the Capacity Metrics App.
- Read, analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot data integration workflows in Azure Data Factory.
- Understand end-to-end data flows from source systems to reporting layers.
- Validate source data using SQL.
