Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of software development experience with PHP 7 or newer.
- Have strong practical knowledge of Symfony versions 3–6+.
- Be able to program in JavaScript.
- Know design patterns used in PHP and JavaScript.
- Have practical knowledge of REST communication.
- Know SQL syntax.
- Be able to use Git for version control.
- Additional experience sought: PHP 7+ (8 years); GitLab (4 years or 5 projects); Symfony 4+ (5 years or 7 projects); API Platform (3 years or 5 projects); Yii2 (5 years or 5 projects); PHPUnit (3 years or 5 projects); Docker and Docker Compose (4 years or 5 projects); RabbitMQ (1 year or 2 projects); Behat (1 year or 2 projects); WCAG 2.1/2.2 (2 years or 3 projects); Elasticsearch (1 year or 2 projects); GitLab CI and code-analysis tools in CI (2 years or 4 projects); and web applications for handling funding applications (2 years or 2 projects).
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the client's software.
- Develop solutions using PHP, Symfony, and JavaScript.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications.
- Propose improvements to software development activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve the tools and processes used for software testing.
- Conduct code reviews focused on code quality and agreed project standards.
- Participate in consultations during working-group meetings about ongoing projects.
