Requirements
- Bring 6+ years of active healthcare big-data integration experience with multiple heterogeneous data sources.
- Have experience with data cleansing and reference/master data management in an enterprise data warehouse.
- Have experience initiating a data governance program, including its operating framework, policies, procedures, and data standardization.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, management information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 6+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Demonstrate profound competency in SQL.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Have data governance knowledge, including industry best practices and leading software providers.
- Be able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Be able to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material.
- A healthcare professional degree (Ph.D., MD, RN, CPhT, or RPhT) is preferred.
- CSPO and PMP certifications are preferred.
- Professional clinical experience within clinical oncology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with business owners and cross-functional teams to facilitate engagement on data governance.
- Determine and implement data usage and quality standards across the organization.
- Translate business user requests into data governance requirements.
- Analyze data sources and support data stewardship practices.
- Help create centralized trusted data sets for enterprise analytics.
- Lead and facilitate group discussions, coaching and mentoring stakeholders.
- Lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.
