Job Details

Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Have expertise in at least one of Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
Bring proven technical leadership experience.
Have expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, and Cloud Cost Optimization.
Be proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
Have strong expertise in cloud-native technologies; GCP is preferred and AWS is acceptable.
Have experience with distributed systems architecture and design (bonus).
Have knowledge of cloud security and governance principles (bonus).
Have experience designing agentic workflows (bonus).
Bring database expertise (bonus).
Have experience building Internal Developer Platforms (bonus).

Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
Mature, maintain, and build features for the Internal Developer Infrastructure Platform.
Create standardized, scalable systems for CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, and cost optimization.
Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies, focusing on usability and maintainability.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for platform delivery.
Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality.
Resolve unclear but urgent tasks.
